A key part to why the Pigman Triathlon is Iowa’s best triathlon is our amazing volunteers. Volunteers are a crucial element to the safety and success of any race. Without volunteers it would be impossible to provide a secure and safe race for our athletes. Volunteers are always needed and appreciated for everything they do for the triathlon community.  Likewise, the Pigman Triathlon needs as many helping hands as we can get.

We are looking for:

• Tri-Clubs and Teams to come out and provide pre-race and post-race support for the event, and at the same time promote their Tri-Club or Team.
• Triathletes that for whatever reason can’t participate in this years event, and want to give back to their triathlon community.
• Family and Friends of the triathlon community. Great way to be out there cheering on their loved ones, while supporting all of the triathletes through volunteering.
• Community Groups or Clubs.
• Individuals that love to volunteer!

Volunteers enjoy a free Pigman Triathlon Volunteer t-shirt, snacks, lots of fun and the opportunity to support this amazing triathlon community! If you are not, or if you know somebody else that is not participating in this years Pigman Triathlon, but would like to help around the event. Grab your Family, Friends, Club, Team, and/or Community Group/Club, and join Pigman Triathlon’s family of volunteers in this great community event. Volunteers are needed to assist with several aspects of the event. Including packet stuffing, packet pickup, race morning packet pickup, body marking, hand out timing chips, transition security, refreshments, course marshals, lifeguards, kayakers, aid stations, finish line area, setup, tear down, clean up, sing the national anthem, parking and the list could keep going.
