Training Tip #4: How much should you swim a week?

Training Tip #4 from David Thompson:

"For most people to get proficient and enjoy swimming, you need to swim at least 3 times per week. To be one of the fastest people in a competitive race, you need to swim about 20,000 or more yards over 5 to 6 sessions in a week. If you come from competitive swimming background you can focus on other things because you’ve done this for a good portion of your life already."
