Thank you for taking time out of your busy schedule to
attend this year’s Marion Arts Festival 5K.
We had another record year with more than 600 signing up for the
event. This run could not go on
without all of the support we receive from you, our sponsors, the volunteers
and the city of Because of the overwhelming response to this year’s Clydesdale and Athena division we have decided to modify and add two more divisions based on the age. Basically what this means is that there will be three Clydesdale/Athena winners of ages under 40 and three winners 40 and above. Six more people will receive awards. They will be put in the mail next week. We did have one glitch at the race today. When you look at the results you will see that the one mile split is missing. This is because I was not able to get the information out of the timing box before turning power off to the system. We had backup timing going so we were able to see who the fastest one mile people were, but for the entire field. What you will see on the results is the combined time for your first and second miles. Sorry for any inconvenience that has caused. John Snitko |
